and very comprehensive approach that “The Spot” has implemented
to address and meet the unique health and health care challenges
of adolescents inone major U.S. city. Dr. Plax also shares
some of her “lessons learned” and best practices.

research infrastructure, to conduct and act upon the
findings of health disparities research. Her remarks
include recommendations for supporting community-based
organizations in leadership roles in health disparities
research.
